The aim of the friends group is to improve the amenities of Sutton Park for the benefit of the local community.
It is to enable and encourage the engagement and active involvement of local people for formal and informal activities for those of all ages that live in the neighbourhood.
To encourage and promote good environmental practice and establish an acceptable balance between the needs of all the park users.
The Friends Group is an organisation of volunteers elected from its local community members. It will be eligible to receive funding from a variety of sources to support its activities.
